Description
This is a resistance test rod, classified as an electrical testing tool, primarily used for resistance testing of electrical equipment.
Core Structure
- The main body features an operating rod made from materials with excellent insulation properties (such as epoxy glass fiber), ensuring insulation safety during live-line operations.
- The front end is equipped with a brass test clamp. Brass possesses good electrical conductivity, ensuring stable current transmission during testing and enhancing the accuracy of resistance measurements.
- Includes dual-color red and black test leads with alligator clips for easy connection to testing instruments (e.g., resistance testers), forming a complete test circuit.
Function and Application
Suitable for detecting contact resistance and loop resistance in electrical equipment within power systems (e.g., switches, busbars, cable joints). Assists maintenance personnel in assessing whether equipment conductivity is normal, promptly identifying resistance abnormalities caused by oxidation, loosening, or other factors, thereby ensuring the safe and stable operation of power equipment.
